The city of Glendale has placed a series of large bronze interpretive plaques throughout our town. These plaques help to tell the story of each building, site or district. Plaques #1-15 can be viewed in the downtown area as a walking tour. Plaques #16-27 consititute a driving tour beginning at the Glendale Grammar School building and ending at Sahuaro Ranch. Four other historic buildings can be viewed along the way that do not have commemorative plaques.
